The Torq is built for long distances, whether for daily work commutes or excursions in the countryside.
Its large 28 inch wheels make for a smooth and stable ride. Rider comfort is maintained whether on uneven ground or when transferring from one surface to another.
The Torq bike is a long distance runner that’s made to eat up miles and can easily cope with flat surfaces and gentle slopes. On the other hand its features make it a little less suited for an urban environment with a lot of traffic or in cramped spaces in comparison with similar bikes in the range (The Sprint 8 and Forte 8)
Its 250W/37V brushless motor with planetary gearbox, its high capacity, 37V/10aH Lithium-Polymer battery, (the latest on the market) plus its Shimano Nexave 8 speed derailleur make it a conventional bike that can be used around town or on bike trails in the country.
The Massload rear carrier, the Schwalbe/Marathon anti-puncture tyres, the LED lighting and the drinks flask add the finishing touches to this model
